666 Lap of Oz 2027 Charity Ride

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Shining a Light on an Overlooked Issue

Men can be victims of domestic violence too — physically, mentally, and emotionally. But too often, their pain goes unnoticed, unspoken, and unsupported. Counsellors see this reality daily. In response, we're taking action.

🔥 The 666 Lap of OZ 2027 Charity Ride

In May 2027, Warrick, his son, and his best mate will hit the road for 6–8 weeks on motorcycles. Together, they'll ride across six states and territories, covering thousands of kilometres on a journey they’ve coined:-

"The 666 Lap of OZ 2027 Charity Ride"

•6 Weeks • 6 States • 6 Wheels (and yes 6 Balls)

This is more than a ride. It’s a national campaign for awareness, understanding, and change.

"I see the real and often unspoken need for greater support and funding for men who are victims of Domestic Violence — whether it’s physical, emotional, or psychological. Too often, these men suffer in silence, and too little is done to address their needs. Intervening and providing help BEFORE men become perpetrators (sometimes as a result of relationship pressures) of DV is a major focus."

"Our weapons of choice are the Honda 1100 Africa Twins, proven adventure bikes that represent strength, endurance and flexibility. Some qualities that perhaps all of us need to survive when dark times arrive in our lives."

"We as a group connect with each other during rides - however it's important to each of us in our own way to be silent and still sometimes, processing as we ride. We find that space doing the thing we love - riding. If men can find an interest a quiet space to feel and process, it opens up other possibilities to find help and deal with life's challenges - hopefully before any line is crossed."

Men who find "purpose" often cope with challenges and life issues far more confidently.

🎯 Mission Objectives:

  • Raise awareness for men affected by domestic and family violence

  • Fundraise - 60 % of donations (up to direct expenses being covered) will be paid to a DV -focused men's service (BENEFIT AGENCIES to be announced) Beyond covering expenses (60/40) - 100% of all donations will be given to the listed beneficiaries.

  • You can donate directly to the listed organisations.

  • Promote services already doing the work — and help reduce stigma

  • Share stories and create content to open up conversations that are long overdue

WE WIILL PROMOTE AWARENESS

 "ONE CONVERSATION AT A TIME"

🛣️ The Journey in Brief:

  • Riding a mix of sealed roads and rugged outback trails 17000kms

  • Camping under the stars, with motel stops along the way

  • Three riders with a combined history of thousands of kilometres — now turning their pastime into purpose

💵 Behind the Ride:

We are using our own "hardware" and time for the ride - our total equipment kit including motorcycles and associated items would be around $100000

Estimated direct expenses for the journey total $30,000, covering:

  • Fuel, accommodation, food

  • Gear and safety equipment

  • Bike maintenance and accessories

NOTE: At least 60% of all donations until the direct cost expenses are covered will go directly to men’s support organisations committed to addressing DV and men's mental health issues. Beyond covering the rides expenses (60/40 of donations) - 100% of all donations will go to the listed beneficiaries.

📢 Corporate & Community Support

The team is actively connecting with:

  • Motorcycle gear and bike brands

  • Local and national businesses (suppliers)

  • Media outlets and community leaders

Sponsors will have the opportunity for brand exposure across the journey, documented via video, blogs, and on-the-road updates.

👕 Merchandise & Fundraising

Branded 666 Lap of Oz 2027 Charity Ride merchandise will soon be available online via a third party — helping raise additional funds and share the message far and wide.

🎥 The Ride Will Be Documented

The entire adventure will be filmed and shared online via vlogs, photos, and live updates — highlighting both the challenges of the road and the deeper conversations these guys aim to spark.

💬 A Message from Warrick:

“This ride is for the men out there doing it tough — for anyone who’s ever felt unheard, unseen, or unsure if they could speak up."

"We’re not just riding for the sake of adventure. We’re riding to make a difference — and we thank you in advance for any contribution you can make, big or small. Your support helps fuel the mission — both literally and figuratively."

OUR MESSAGE

"There is help. There is hope"

If we can put some fuel in the tank for someone else’s healing — it’s worth every kilometre.

666 RIDERS

Meet the 666 Riders

MARK – Smash (AKA - OUTMAN - So called because he’s either out-front or out the back)

Lives – Maitland NSW (too close to Putty Rd)

Spent his early childhood PESTERING his parents for a motorbike. Finally got one at age 8 and hasn’t looked back. Grew up riding dirt bikes on the farm in Port Macquarie until he discovered fast road bikes.

So far so good with few if any accidents to confess (that we know about anyway)

Good solid rider to take care of you when you’re on the road together – always first for a shout and always there to help.

Does have a problem with accumulating BMW’s (yes, he’ll be on an Africa for the ride)

CURTIS - Curto (AKA - NABMAN – Need Another Bike and Curto de Flurto) He’s the one on the left below

The youngest of the team (son of Team Leader - Casho)

Lives on the Gold Coast – very close to Springbrook and Beechmont fun roads

Started riding on the farm at about 12 and has never looked back – buying and selling some 15 / 20 bikes in his short riding career

Always looks after his dad – but has no idea where he’s going – always happy to follow

WARRICK - Casho (Dip.Coun) (Known as Team Leader – OR Maverick when ordering coffee)

With age brings experience – and plenty of it – with so much more to do.

Lives on the Gold Coast but spends most of his time thinking about the next ride

Threw his leg over the first bike at about 6 years of age and hasn’t stopped since – Dirt bikes, raced Motocross in the 70’s and settled into touring bikes (with and without the misses)

Completed 1 full lap of Australia and successfully rode to and from Gibb River via Mt Isa home via Melbourne just 2 years ago on a DR 650 doing over 14000kms with less than 40hp available

Currently owns three bikes (Dirt, CRF 450 – Sprint, CRF 1100 and Touring, BMW K1600)

His Dad was one of the original NRMA Service men after the war (1947 – 1950) who rode the original 10/12 Harley Davidson Service vehicles (fitted with side car) in Sydney.

Also been down Conrod in a Race Mustang at 255kph (only because they wouldn’t allow 5th and 6th gear)

Been to and driven the Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee USA (a legendary 11 mile stretch of US 129 in Deals Gap Tennessee / Norh Carolina with 318 curves)
